Resort
resort in Coorg, Karnataka, India. The resort is designed to blend in with the natural surroundings, with traditional-style buildings and thatched roofs.
The resort features a series of small buildings arranged around a central courtyard and pool area. The buildings are connected by a network of walkways and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
The exterior of the buildings is finished in a combination of natural stone, wood, and thatch, with intricate details and decorative elements adding to the overall aesthetic. Large windows and doors provide ample natural light and views of the surrounding landscape.
Inside, the buildings are designed with a mix of traditional and modern elements, with high ceilings, exposed beams, and comfortable furnishings. The interiors are finished in a warm and inviting color palette, with natural materials such as wood and stone adding to the overall atmosphere.
the masterplan is designed to create a harmonious and relaxing environment that connects seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The use of traditional building materials and design elements adds to the overall aesthetic, creating a unique and memorable experience for guests.
The inclusion of an infinity pool in each suite of the resort is a luxurious and unique feature that adds to the overall experience for guests. An infinity pool is a type of swimming pool that gives the illusion of blending into the surrounding landscape or horizon, with no visible edge or boundary. This design creates a striking visual effect, especially when the pool is situated on a higher level than the surrounding are.
We aimed to create a space that seamlessly integrates with the natural environment ,sought to imbue the restaurant with a sense of warmth and coziness. Large windows were strategically placed to provide abundant natural light and panoramic views of the picturesque landscape.
The layout of the restaurant was meticulously planned to ensure that guests can enjoy both privacy and social interaction. Each table and seating area was carefully positioned to achieve a perfect balance between form and function. The central bar area was designed to be a focal point of the space, creating a lively ambiance for guests to unwind and enjoy their drinks.
We paid particular attention to the lighting in the restaurant, opting for soft and warm lighting to create a relaxing and intimate atmosphere during evening hours. the restaurant in this resort is a testament to my design philosophy of seamlessly blending modern sophistication with natural beauty to provide a memorable dining experience for guests.
